Back in late summer of 2022, the Town of Garner granted us permission to move our community garden to Thompson Road Park. We have been hard at work getting things up and running, and we are finally ready to open the garden up to the public!

Come and join us for our Grand Opening where there will be food and fun for the whole family! Attractions include:
- Prizes and branded souvenir merchandise
- A Taco Truck
- A Funnel Cake Booth
- A Kid’s Zone with coloring and craft projects for the little ones
- Plant Sale Booth with some of our gently nurtured seedlings for sale
- An Animal Booth where you can learn about and see live animals (goats, chickens and/or rabbits)
- A Pollinator Booth where you can learn about bees and other pollinators who help out in the garden
- Information about Garner Grows Community Garden and how you can join or contribute
- Self-guided tours of our garden progress so far
- Other informational community business booths
